He is an Indian contemporary artist primarily concerned with reality and illusion of human life. As a result, Partha Bhattacharjee is best known for his use of Trompe-l’œil in the Devi Series. Most importantly, he was awarded the President of India’s silver plaque for the best work for the year 2000-2001 by AIFAC.
