Notes The central miniature depicting a melancholic female figure seated in a rocky landscape representing the musical mode Asavari Ragini with Tanjore Tambura , set within a wide, dark-wash margin (hasli) sumptuously illuminated with scrolling gold tendrils, floral sprays, and avian motifs. Features two distinct lines of calligraphic inscription in Early Modern Armenian dialect script: one written within a vibrant lapis-blue cartouche above the painting, and the second delicately penned in gold ink along the lower margin.
