Heavy oval silver tray with cut out handles and pretty delicate ribbon and bow design around the edge. Presented as a gift from the
Portuguese-Israeli community in Amsterdam in 1900 engraved with the wording "To the Honorable Sir I H MENDES DA COSTA as recognition of the manner in which you have belonged to the community for the last fifty years".
