Two decorative cartouches. Information: The map was originally published in the Appendix Atlantis in 1633 (1573-1650) by Hendrik Hondius. The map was reprinted in all editions on Johannes Janssonius's Atlas and in the second volume of ”Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, sive Atlas Novus” by Willem Blaeu. The eastern part of European Russia and Siberia to the Pacific Ocean are on the map (from Arkhangelsk to the Caspian Sea; from the mythical cape Tabin to the border of China).
