Information: Alexandra Alexandrovna Exter (1882-1949) was a painter, theater artist, designer, graphic artist. One of the most profound representative of the Russian avant-garde of the 1910s and 1920s. Her early work was influenced by French Cubism and Russian cubofuturism. In 1908-1914, she lived, studied and worked alternately in Kiev, Moscow and Paris. In 1916-1921, she performed sketches of sets and costumes for the Moscow Art and Chamber Theaters. In 1918-1921, she founded her own studio and taught in Kiev. In 1924 she emigrated to France. Innokenty Fedorovich Annensky (1855-1909) was a poet, playwrighter, translator, and critic. The play Famira-Kifared (1906, published posthumously in 1913) is in the ancient Greek spirit based on the plots of the lost tragedies of Euripides and in imitation of his manner.
