Information: Rostislas (Rostislav) Vladimirovich Lukin (1904-1988) was a painter and iconographer. He studied in Constantinople, at the Conservatory, and later at Moravska Trebova in Czechoslovakia. He received his first drawing lessons from Vera Rode, a gymnasium teacher. In 1927 he came to Paris. He entered the Russian Art and Industrial Institute, studied folk art under the guidance of N.V. Globa and I.Ya. Bilibin. He was a member of the Ikona Society and participated in its exhibitions (1929, 1930). Defects: Condition report by request.
