Information: Mikhail Pelopidovich Latri (1875-1942) was a painter, graphic artist, decorative and applied artist, grandson of I.K. Aivazovsky. He received his initial skills in drawing and painting under the guidance of his grandfather. He studied at the Higher School of Economics at the Institute of Applied Sciences in the landscape class under A.I. Kuindzhi. For some time he lived in Munich, where he studied at the school of S. Holloshi and Ferry-Schmidt. Around 1920 he emigrated to Greece. He managed a ceramic factory in Athens. Participated in archaeological excavations. The works are presented in many museum collections, among which there are the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of Fine Arts, and the Louvre. Defects: Condition report by request.
