Information: Mikhail Fedorovich Larionov (1881-1964) was an artist and one of the founders of the Russian avant-garde. After emigration, he worked as a theatrical designer. Natalia Sergeevna Goncharova (1881-1962) was an avant-garde artist. In 1901-1909, Goncharova studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where she first studied sculpture, and then became interested in painting, which she studied under K.A. Korovin. In 1912, together with M.F. Larionov, she organized the ”Donkey's Tail” art association. Since 1914, Goncharova began working as a theater artist - she performed the design of the production ”The Golden Cockerel” by N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov commissioned by S.P. Diaghilev. In 1915, accepting Diaghilev's invitation to work as an artist for the Russian Seasons, Goncharova and her husband came to France, where they remained for the rest of their lives.
