Genuine North African Hanukkah lamp adorned with birds.
Brass cast processed with drilling and polishing. The back wall is shaped like a line of eastern architectural arches with a hanger which carries the oil container of the "Shamash" of the menorah. The sides of the menorah are also decorated with arched gates - each gate has a bird figure on its top ( Hanukkah lamp adorned with songbirds - The Israel Museum, Jerusalem). Late 19th century, early 20th century. Width: 21 cm Height: 24 cm.
