Hamilton 16s Openface Pocket Watch, Grade 974, 17j, Serial #817855 - Hamilton openface grade 974 pocket watch featuring a 17 jewel movement and serial number 817855 puts manufacture circa 1911. The watch has a two-tone white dial, black numerals and hands, dark red 5 minute indicators outside of a black minute track, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. The movement is marked ”Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, PA., 17 Jewels, ADJUSTED”. The gold case is marked  ”Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA” and ”Guaranteed 25 YEARS”, and has a case number 9774301. The back of the case is engraved with a faded floral design.    Condition: Good condition. Minor wear commensurate with age. The crystal has some scratches. The case shows some light surface scratches. Movement is untested.
