1950's Longines Monopusher Chronograph Wristwatch Serial 8884905 - Vintage Longines Monopusher Flyback chronograph wristwatch featuring the 12.86Z caliber manual wind movement circa 1953. The mono-pusher stop-seconds flyback chronograph movement is based upon the 12L platform highly regarded for tracking the timing of multiple events. This watch features a central minute counter hand in blued steel that works in conjunction with the central chronograph hand. It is housed in a 10k gold-filled case, subsidiary dial, and a Spiedel expansion band. The case back is marked Longines-Wittnauer Watch Co. Inc. Serial number 8884905. Condition: Good condition. Some wear to the gold-filled case, commensurate with age. The original silver dial with Breguet numeral and red accents also shows appropriate age throughout, showing consistent spotting and a handsome dial warmth. The hands all remain original to the watch and in excellent condition. The watch is not running and will require service to be functional.
