Large Sultanabad dish - Large Sultanabad dish Persia, Ilkhanid period, 14th century Large dish resting on a disc, gently flared sides and short everted brim. The interior typically decorated in light relief with simiurghs in the cavetto, separated by drop-shaped reserves containing floral elements, and a couple holding their hands depicted in the central roundel. The exterior painted with radiating panels containing dotted decoration. Restored. h. 8,5 X diam. 38,5 cm
