A large Hispano Moresque lustre painted dish in the late 15th century style - A large Hispano Moresque lustre painted dish in the late 15th century style Spain, Valencia, 19th century Large pottery dish painted in ruby lustre and blue underglaze with vine leaves scrolls radially displayed around a centre decorated with a flame motif flanked by a pair of lions. The exterior painted in lustre with a large rampant lion. The style is very much reminiscent of the late 15th century specimen (cfr. British Museum, Acc. no. G.544) Restored. h. 8 X diam. 45 cm
