Kashan bowl with lustre decoration - Kashan bowl with lustre decoration Iran, Kashan, early 13th century Fritware body resting on disc. The decoration in Kashan style featuring a central flower surrounded by palmettes arranged radially on the inner walls and the upper rim decorated with two thin bands containing fish scale motifs and plant scrolls. The exterior is decorated with graphemes inserted into almond-shaped elements. The registers of the composition are often outlined in cobalt blue below the cover. Restored.
