Group of four carnelian seals with Arabic inscriptions - Four carnelian tiles of different shades and shapes, each engraved with Arabic inscriptions with religious and apotropaic meanings. The largest seal deeply carved with an inscription reading: Yā Shāh-i Najaf (“O King of Najaf”), referring to ʿAlī, and the date 1232 AH (1816-1817 AD). The second seal, attributable to the 18th-19th century, is characterized by natural veining that enhances the engraving, again addressed to “Ali: Yā ʿAlī madad ('O Ali, help me”). Similarly, the third tile bears the invocation Yā ʿAlī (ﻋﻠﻲ ﯾﺎ), “Oh Ali!”, and the date: 1217 AH (1802-03 AD). The last seal shows a calligraphic nasta'liq inscription that reads: 'There is no sadness in me except for the remembrance of al-Ḥusayn' (اﻟﺤﺴﯿﻦ ذﻛﺮ ﻏﯿﺮ ﻏٍﻢ ﻣﻦ ﺑﻲ ﻣﺎ), recalling the episode of the Battle of Kerbala, central to Shi'a liturgy.
