A jewelled talisman mounted in silver and probably made of meteorite impact glass formed in the Libyan desert in the periphery east of the Sahara. This natural glass commonly referred to as LDG (Libian Desert Glass) is characterized by its distinctive pale yellow color. Since antiquity, it has been exploited for the creation of important jewellery and artefacts as well as used as a valuable trade commodity. 5,5 × 4,4 cm
