Engraved green glass seal amulet - Engraved green glass seal amulet Nepal or Tibet, 19th century Devotional seal, the front engraved with an inscription on three horizontal registers, completed by two cosmic symbols (eight-pointed star half-moon) in the upper area and a glyph in the lower area. The inscription is not fully readable, but shows similarities with the Rañjana script, a writing system of Nepalese origin, derived from ancient forms of Indian writing, mainly used to transcribe texts in Sanskrit in the context of Vajrayana Tantric Buddhism, especially in the Indo-Tibetan area.
