Devotional sculpture depicting Bull Nandi - Devotional sculpture depicting Bull Nandi India, 18th century Bronze casting depicting the sacred bull and vahana (vehicle) of Lord Shiva, among the most venerated figures in the Hindu pantheon. The animal is typically represented in a crouched position with its body adorned with ritual necklaces. Between its two front legs the animal holds a linga on yoni, or the aniconic version of Shiva positioned on the base symbolizing the female element.
