Recanati, Venice, 1545 - Sefer Rekanati, Venice, 1545. With [18] restored pages in ancient handwriting and ancient pages of Geniza in the binding. Elucidation on the Torah by Rabbi Menachem of Recanati, following the path of Kabbalah. This work was revived via the great Kabbalists, and due to its great importance, Rabbi Mordechai Yaffeh, author of the Levush, wrote an entire work, the “Levush Or Yekarot”, which deals with this Sefer. Pages 215-232 were missing and were restored with handwritten copies. Handwritten ownership notation in Yemenite script: ”אשר חנן אלקים לעבדו הצעיר אהרן בן שלמה בירב יוסף הכהן עראקי. יזכיני ה' להגות בו ולדקדק בעניניו אני וזרעי וזרע זרעי עד סוף כל הדורות. אכי”ר” With several glosses on margins. Within the casing are stored ancient manuscripts. In the back cover is a copy of the elucidation of the Ba’al HaTurim on Parshat Naso, and on one of the flyleaves is a transcription taken from Sefer Reishit Chochma. Rabbi Aharon ben Shlomo ben Yosef ben Avraham Hakohen Araki (lived during the 17th century) – a sage and a scribe from the area of Rada'a and Dhamar, south of Sanaa.
