With an ownership inscription in his handwriting: ”מיכל יהודה ליפקוביץ, אור ליום ד' מרחשון תשס”ה” The great Gaon Rabbi Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz, senior Rosh Yeshiva and one of the foremost leaders of the Torah world. A distinguished disciple of the author of Or Yeheil, and in his later years, his home became a tower of strength for Torah, fear of Heaven, ethical thought, and guidance in all matters pertaining to the Jewish people. His pure heart and fear of Heaven, which he bestowed upon the many who sought his counsel, and his humble and noble character, were especially renowned for his piety and simplicity.
