With signatures and with numerous stamps of the Admor of Strapkov, Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Lipschutz Halberstam, from the period when he served as Av Beit Din of Ramla. At the end was printed: * Sefer Shnot Eliyahu, with additions from the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Bekerk of Sieni, with a separate title page. 33 leaves; leaves 34–39 are lacking. Stereotype edition of Warsaw 1872. This edition of Seder Zera’im does not appear in the catalog of the National Library nor in the Unified Israeli Library Catalog. It was also unknown to the authors of the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book. The Holy Admor Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Lipschutz Halberstam of Strapkov (1908–1994) – one of the righteous of Jerusalem. Born to his father, Rabbi Yissachar Dov Lipschutz of Ungvar (descendant of the Holy Ari D’Bei Ilai) and to his mother, Mrs. Baila from the lineage of Tzanz. He studied in the Yeshiva of Rabbi Avraham Yosef Greenwald, the son of the author of Arot HaBosem. He married in 1932 Miriam Leah, daughter of Rabbi Yitzchak Reuven Lipschutz, Av Beit Din of Tarny–Donajec. He served as Rabbi of Yavlonka and as a Chassidic Dayan in Bergsas. During the Holocaust, he lost his wife and children but acted with superhuman strength to rebuild the surviving remnant both spiritually and physically. After the war, he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael, and after some wandering, he established his Beit Midrash in the Meah Shearim neighborhood. The Holy Rabbi of Satmar appointed him as his representative over the kashrut of the mikva’ot in Eretz Yisrael. Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga was known both for his immense Torah mastery and for his exceptional piety. He authored numerous works in Halacha and Aggadah. Rear cover only, detached.
