The Gaon Rabbi Kattriel Fishel Takhoresh (1896–1979) was one of the founders of Tzeirei HaMizrachi in Poland. He immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1933 and served as the rabbi of the Shapira neighborhood and as a Kashrut authority in Tel Aviv. He was among the founders of the Rabbinical Association of HaPoel HaMizrachi and served as its head, a member of the Chief Rabbinate Council, and author of halachic and Hashkafic works, as well as many essays on Torah and the State.
