Item Overview
Description:
Shulchan Aruch Even HaEzer with Beit Shmuel and Chelkat Mechokek, Bound with Turei Zahav as a Separate Sefer – Ostroh, 1806 – With the Approbation of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev – With Dozens of Marginal Glosses.
In the present edition, the commentaries Beit Shmuel and Chelkat Mechokek are printed around the text of Shulchan Aruch. At the end of the volume, Sefer Turei Zahav is printed as an independent work, with its own separate title page.
The glosses in this copy were apparently written toward the end of the 18th century, after 1816, since one of the notes already cites the Avnei Miluim, first printed in 1816.
Incomplete copy.
