Title page printed in gilt ink. The Sefer received the approbations of the Rabbis of Tiberias and the approbation of Rabbi Raphael Ibn Tzur, Rav of Fez. The approbations leaf is lacking in the present volume. On the verso of the title page is a printed dedication with handwritten completion to the recipient, Mr. Yaakov Samander. Additional inscriptions and ownership signatures. The biography of Rabbi Eliyahu ben Rabbi Avraham Yelluz (1860–1929) was published in the Sefer Toldot Eliyahu, issued by his son Rabbi Yosef Chaim Yelluz (Jerusalem, 1933).
