Matzah Cover. Hungary, Late 1800's - 'Matzah Tash' - a cover for the Matzos, embroidered on cloth. Hungary circa 1920. Square cover from thin, red cloth, with an embroidery of the blessing 'Al achilat Matzah' in a large font and some diacritics, On the cover is also an embroidery of flowers in shades of yellow, green, light-blue, turquoise, and light red. The inside is separated into three pockets, as is customary, marked Kohen, Levi, and Yisrael, surrounded by a braid, partially damaged. Tears and wear in the cloth. Fair - good condition.
