Paroches For a Torah Ark – Immediately Post the Holocaust - Crimson-red Paroches, made in memory of those martyred in 1945. Inscribed: “The memory of the soul of Betzalel Yaakov Schreiber, martyred sanctifying the Holy Name in 1945, shall be remembered forever. Donated by his wife and his sons in honor of the Torah ”. The Paroches is embroidered in handsome, relatively simple embroidery, matching the style of the period immediately following WWII, and does not incorporate grand decorations or precious stones. Velvet in relatively good condition. Age stains and some fading. Overall good condition.
