Belt For a Sefer Torah – Embroidered Velvet, 1927 - Velvet belt for a Sefer Torah. Europe, 1927. Belt for wrapping a Sefer Torah, deep-red velvet with gold-embroidered lettering. “Donated in honor of the Torah by the Chaver R’ Aharon Farber and his wife Mrs. Rachel Leah may they live, 1927”. Velvet in very good condition. Relative to its 100-year-old age – excellent condition. No fraying, no age damage to the lettering. Very little wear on one end, where the belt narrows to a point. Very good condition.
