[3], 15, [1] pp. On the final page: a wondrous source for the custom to rejoice with song and dance and clapping hands during the Hakafos on Simchas Torah, which the publisher heard from Harav HaKadosh of Sadigura. Harav Hachasid Rabbi Mordechai Dovid Rachmanan — the Mashba”k for Maran Harav HaKadosh, the Knesses Mordechai, Rabbi Mordechai Shalom Yosef Friedman of Sadigura, in Vienna and in Premishla. He printed the present Seder Hakafos in a second edition for the benefit of the public and as a Segulah for attachment to the Ilana D’Chayei. The publisher added the introduction of the Knesses Mordechai, prepared a precise proofreading, wrote an introduction (“Apology and Warning”), added cantillation and vocalization, and many additions. In a letter that the mashbak Rabbi Mordechai Dovid wrote to the Raavad of Tzfas, he described the awakening and vitality of holiness that the Chassidim drew during the Yamim Nora’im with the Admor, the Knesses Mordechai, and notes that “the Hakafos dances were truly with Mesirus Nefesh and casting off physicality, and we merited to hear holy sayings—awesome words.” Thick paper wrappers.
