With an inscription in the handwriting of the Mayor of Bnei Brak, R. Yitzchak Meir. 140 pp. With an inscription to R. Yechiel Bendikt from “the author’s grandson, Yitzchak Meir.” Rabbi Nachman Shmuel Yaakov of Yodasar (d. Nissan 1948) — among the disciples of Harav HaKadosh the author of Avnei Nezer and Harav HaKadosh Rabbi Meir Yechiel Holstock of Ostrovtza. From 1908 he served as Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva in Brok (Lomza Governorate). In 1925 he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael; from 1931 he served as Rav of the colony of Bnei Brak, and from 1934 he served as chairman of the colony committee. A descendant of the Gaon Rabbi Yehonasan Eibeshitz. During World War I most of his Chiddushim manuscripts were lost, and from the surviving portion he published the present Sefer “to sharpen the students, and it will be of great benefit to them in their learning.” He also included Chiddushei Aggadah delivered in a sharp, incisive manner, from what he said before the members of his community at Seudah Shelishis each and every Shabbos. Rabbi Yitzchak Meir — Deputy Chief Rabbi of the IDF, Director-General of Chinuch Atzmai, and Mayor of Bnei Brak — was the son-in-law of his son. Wear to the binding. Light stains. Wormholes.
