Leket Hakemach on the Mishna, by Rabbi Moshe ibn Yaakov Ḥagiz. Wandsbeck, 1726. Noble exemplar. Exemplar of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman of Grodzisk Wielkopolski: Leket Hakemach (Hakemach is an acronym of ‘HaKatan Moshe Ḥagiz’), a small pamphlet with references to various halacot and Chiddushim. Followed by “Zikaron Livnei Yisrael” words of chastisement and morals by the author’s father. Ownership notation on the title page: “This Leket Hakemach belongs to the Rabbi, the great and renowned Gaon, the exemplary philanthropist, expansive in Torah and all measures and values, our master and Rabbi, Shlomo Zalman, may his candle light and shine as the light of the son, Av Beis Din of the holy community of Greiditz (Grodzisk Wielkopolski)”.
