A letter signed by the Rebbe Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu of Modzitz, addressing his time as a rabbi in Tel Aviv, 1939. The typed and machine-printed letter confirms that Rabbi of Modzitz, then serving in the southern neighborhoods of Tel Aviv and a member of the city's religious council, is joining a rabbinical organization. The organization’s goal was to improve the spiritual and material conditions of the rabbis in Tel Aviv. The letter is dated 5th of Tammuz, 1939 – a few months before World War II.
