Extremely Rare: The Account Book of the 'General Soup Kitchen', Pamphlet A. Jerusalem, 1895 Printed pamphlet - A financial account of income and expenses of the General Soup Kitchen. Jerusalem, Joel Moshe Solomon Press. Pamphlet A, followed by only one other pamphlet. At the beginning of the pamphlet is an introductory message from the administrators of the kitchen, followed by a list of donors and letters from Jerusalem’s leaders – Rabbi Shmuel Salant, Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, and many others. The last page is in German. Up to page 12, it was printed in the month of Cheshvan, and the printing was interrupted for about two months (during the middle of a letter). The continuation from page 13 onward was printed only in the month of Tevet, and therefore the administrators added a list of donors who contributed during that time. Extremely rare. Not listed in the bibliographic project. The National Library holds a single copy. 19, [1] pages. 21 cm. Condition: Good to very good. Light age stains. A tiny hole in the last page, far from the text. Unbound. Please note: The translation into English was done using artificial intelligence. In case of any discrepancies between the Hebrew and English texts, the Hebrew text prevails. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
