Berlin, 5527 [1767]. First edition of a book by one of the greatest later authorities. The commentary on the other sections of the Tur was printed much earlier, but for some reason, the Orach Chaim section was not printed alongside them, and its printing was delayed until 5527 (1767). On the inner side of the front cover appears the handwritten signature of the Gaon Rabbi Simcha Bamberg, son of Rabbi Yitzchak Dov of Würzburg. 111 leaves. 33 cm. Condition: Good to Very Good. Signs of use and aging. Slight creases and small adhesions on the title page. Original cardboard binding, damaged. Spine missing.
