Kavanot HaAggadot - Kafṭor Va'Perach – by Rabbi Yaakov Luzzatto, Amsterdam 1709 – First Edition ”Kavanot HaAggadot - Kafṭor Va'Perach” is an explanation of the Aggadot in the Talmud and parts of the Zohar, interwoven with wonderful stories and parables, written by the Kabbalist Rabbi Yaakov Luzzatto, one of the sages of Venice who later moved to Tzfat. Published in Amsterdam, 1709. This is one of the first books of the disciples of the holy Baal Shem Tov, and books like Toldot Yaakov Yosef cite his teachings in several places (such as Parshat Naso, among others).
