Amsterdam, 1723 - With Distinctive Illustrations Das Bentchen—including tefillos, Bircas Hamazon, Shabbos zemiros, and the Haggadah Shel Pesach according to the minhag of Ashkenaz and Poland, accompanied by Yiddish text printed in Tze'enah U'Re'enah type. Printed by Yitzchok ben Yaakov de Cordova, Amsterdam, 1723. This edition appears to have been issued as a competing printing to the Das Bentchen produced shortly beforehand by the Proops family press in Amsterdam 1722. An exceedingly rare edition of this popular work, which saw constant use among men and women for whom reading Loshon Kodesh was not easy. As a result, copies preserved in such handsome condition as the present example are of the utmost rarity.
