(Altona, Hamburg, and Wandsbek), entirely in the ksav yad kodsho of Rabbeinu Yonasan Eybeschutz ZYA”A, Av Beis Din of the three communities. The following passage is entirely in Rabbeinu's ksav yad kodsho: ”...All of the above was carried out before me with honesty and integrity, and after careful deliberation, solely l'Shem Shomayim. Since R. G. Diaren has departed from here, his place has been taken by the aforementioned Reb Azriel, who was among those previously appointed, and his appointment is hereby approved and confirmed with full authority, as is proper and fitting. Dated this day, the year 1762. His fame spread throughout the Jewish world through his celebrated seforim, among them Urim VeTumim on Choshen Mishpot, Kreisi U'Pleisi on Yoreh Deah, Bnei Ahuvah on Even HaEzer, Yodei Binah on Orach Chaim, Ya'aros Devash, and many others. If only I could merit to be dust beneath his feet...” (Nesiv Mitzvosecha, Shevil HaEmunah, ch. 6).
