May it be His will that I merit to begin and complete it, and that it accord with the true daas Torah and find favor before Him, Yisborach. omein.” The volume also bears numerous ownership inscriptions indicating that it belonged to the gaon. Maran Rabbi Shlomo Kluger (1785–1869), the revered Ra'avad of Brody, was renowned for his prodigious output in every area of Torah. He once remarked that he had authored as many seforim as the numerical value of his name, ”Shlomo”—375—and that there was scarcely a question which he had not addressed in one of his works. He composed nearly an entire sefer on every parshah of the Torah. Already at the age of eighteen, he served as a dayan and arbitrator and was revered by the gedolei hador. Among his many seforim are Shu”t Tuv Taam VaDaas, Chochmas Shlomo on Shulchan Aruch, Nidrei Zerizin, Shu”t Elef Lecha Shlomo, Sefer HaChaim, and many others. Rabbi Meir of Premishlan said: “From Heaven it is seen that just as Rabbi Shlomo rules below, so do they rule in the Mesivta D'Reki'a...” (Nachalas Tzvi, vol. IV, p. 73). The teshuvos have not been individually examined to determine whether they were printed. Several have been identified in Shu”t Tuv Taam VaDaas and other seforim.
