Tosh Dynasty - Letter on Kashrus Matters from the Gaon Hakadosh Rabbi Mordechai of Demecser ZYA”A, Hy”d Autograph letter, entirely in the ksav yad kodsho and bearing the signature of the gaon hakadosh Rabbi Mordechai of Demecser ZYA”A, Rav of Demecser and father of Maran the heilige Tasher Rebbe ZYA”A. Contents of the LetterL: Written on Monday of Parshas Emor, 1940, and addressed to the Badatz of the Kehillah of Pest, Rabbeinu expresses his surprise that he had not been informed of concerns regarding the kashrus of the food known as ”Yarben.” At the same time, one can clearly discern his exceptional middos and refinement. In the midst of expressing his astonishment, he immediately adds, ”But what has passed, has passed, ” making it clear that he harbors no ill feelings whatsoever. (As is well known, these very qualities shone brightly as well in his son, the heilige Tasher Rebbe ZYA”A.) He then continues: ”I now request that you inform me immediately how long there is reason for concern regarding this matter.” The letter concludes with a heartfelt brochoh: ”...and bless you with all that is good, while awaiting your esteemed reply at the earliest opportunity, and praying for the exaltation of the honor of Klal Yisroel and the honor of Torah.
