Haskamah in the Hand of the Gaon Hakadosh of Tzehlim ZT”L on Yad Aharon Autograph letter, entirely in the ksav yad kodsho of the gaon hakadosh Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Greenwald of Tzehlim ZT”L, bearing his distinctive signature. A letter of haskamah for Yad Aharon, authored by the gaon hakadosh Rabbi Aharon Dovid Rubinstein Hy”D, Av Beis Din of Kovatshehaz. Written on the thirty-fifth day of Sefirah, 1969. Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Greenwald, Rav of Tzehlim, was the youngest son of the gaon hakadosh Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, Baal Arugas HaBosem of Chust ZYA”A. He served as Rav in Orshiva, Poi, and Tzehlim. Following the rise of anti-Jewish decrees in Austria in 1938, he emigrated to the United States, where he established the Arugas HaBosem Kehillah and Yeshivah. He was deeply involved in strengthening standards of kashrus, served as president of Kollel Shomrei HaChomos, and as vice president of Hisachdus HaRabbonim of the U.S. and Canada. He was niftar on 27 Nissan 1980. Rabbi Aharon Dovid Rubinstein Hy”D, Av Beis Din of Kovatshehaz, was a talmid of the gaon hakadosh Rabbi Shaul Brach of Kashau and Rabbi Avraham Yosef Greenwald of Ungvar. He raised many talmidim and authored several distinguished works, among them Neti'os Eder, Yad Aharon, and Pri Eder.
