It was well known that the Baal Shem Tov HaKadosh would travel to his village to discuss sod with him. Before his petirah, he instructed that his manuscripts be buried with him. When the Yismach Moshe learned of this, he deeply regretted that he had not accepted the earlier invitation to study Kabbalah with him. He immediately hired scribes to copy the manuscripts, placed the copies in the kever in fulfillment of his request, and preserved the original manuscripts. He later entrusted them to Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael, the Maggid of Kremenitz , whose son brought them to print. A foundational work of one of the hidden tzaddikim of the Baal Shem Tov's generation, preserved for posterity through the efforts of the Yismach Moshe.
