Chavatzeles HaSharon on Sefer Daniel – Venice, 1592 – Printed During the Lifetime of the Alshich HaKadosh Second edition of Chavatzeles HaSharon on Sefer Daniel by Rabbeinu Moshe Alshich, the Alshich HaKadosh , printed in Venice, 1592, during the lifetime of the mechaber. The sefer was first printed in Constantinople in 1563. The Alshich HaKadosh was among the gedolei Tzfas, received semichah from the Beis Yosef , and was mekurov to the Arizal, who testified that he was ” mechaven la'emes in his derashos .” He was also the rebbe who granted semichah to Reb Chaim Vital.
