Divided into two sections: Sur MeRa and Aseh Tov . First edition. Lemberg, 1832. The first sefer of the Ziditchover Rebbe to appear in print! One of the foundational sefarim for the study of Kabbalah according to the teachings of Chassidus. Owing to its great importance, it was later published together with the glosses of the Bnei Yissaschar , entitled 'Hosafos Maharatza'. In his approbation to one of the Ziditchover Rebbe's sefarim, the Bnei Yissaschar writes: ”...In our generation I have scarcely seen or even heard of anyone comparable to him. He attained unparalleled depth in the wondrous wisdom of Kabbalah and stood alone in his generation in the wisdom of the hidden Torah...” Early handwritten ownership inscriptions, including one reading: ”This sefer belongs to Rabbi Yosef HaLevi Horowitz, ” together with additional handwritten inscriptions, including one of Dov Berish of Tysmenitz.
