Be'er HaGolah secured a permanent place on the margins of the Shulchan Aruch and has accompanied virtually every major edition ever since. The author's great-grandson was the Vilna Gaon , who continued this legacy through his celebrated glosses on all four sections of the Shulchan Aruch. Second edition, corrected from errors that appeared in the first edition, and the edition upon which subsequent printings of Be'er HaGolah were based.
