Shulchan Aruch of Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanów – Filled with Unpublished Haga'os by His Son, Rabbi Dov Berish of Biala – Kodesh Kodashim Afei Ravrevei – Shulchan Aruch, Even HaEzer, with Chelkas Mechokek, Beis Shmuel and Be'er HaGolah, Fürth, 1782. The personal Shulchan Aruch of the holy gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanów , bearing his signature and stamp, together with dozens of manuscript haga'os by his son, the holy Rabbi Dov Berish of Biala. A remarkable cheftza shel kedushah, which may have accompanied Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanów in the beis midrash of the Maharal Tzintz , together with the Chiddushei HaRim and other gedolei Poland.   At the head of the title page appears Rabbi Avraham's signature: ”Shayach li l'shmi Avraham...” together with his well-known stamp: ”Avraham b'mo”ה Raphael z”l.” The volume is filled with manuscript notes, comments and lengthy halachic discussions by Rabbi Dov Berish of Biala , including sharp observations such as: ”Lo uchal l'havin...” ”Aval lefi ha'emes...” ”V'hu tamuah me'od...” These important haga'os appear never to have been printed and are worthy of publication. On folio 131b, Rabbi Dov Berish records a lengthy teaching received from his father: ”B'shem Adoni Avi HaGaon HeChassid Mohar”A n”י...” A Father and Son United in Torah This Shulchan Aruch passed from Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanów to his beloved son and successor, Rabbi Dov Berish of Biala. The manuscript notes throughout the volume reflect their shared immersion in the sugyos of Even HaEzer and preserve original Torah discussions from two of the great tzaddikim of Poland. A remarkable relic of Torah and Chassidus, preserving unpublished Torah from both Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanów and Rabbi Dov Berish of Biala.
