The Yismach Moshe's Blessing: ”He Shall Be Blessed from Heaven” – Asiris Ha'Eifah by the Komarna Rebbe – First Edition – Lemberg, 1849 Asiris Ha'Eifah , a commentary on the Toras Kohanim by the Baal Heichal HaBerachah of Komarna . Published through the generosity of Rabbi Chaim Dovid Scharf , with the assistance of his sons, Rabbi Alexander and Rabbi Eliezer Tzvi. First edition . Lemberg, 1849. The Yismach Moshe's Warm Approbation and Blessing Printed at the beginning of the sefer are the approbations of the Yismach Moshe and Maharam Ash of Ungvar . In his haskamah, the Yismach Moshe lavishes extraordinary praise upon the author, describing him as ”well versed in the innermost chambers of Torah, whose deeds are wondrous, ” and urges the public to support the publication, calling it ”a great and lofty mitzvah” to assist the mechaber with a willing heart. He then bestows a heartfelt blessing upon all who contribute toward the printing of the sefer: ”He shall be blessed from Heaven, merit to taste of the fruit of the Tree of Life, and may we all soon rejoice together in the joy of Yerushalayim.” The Yismach Moshe also mentions the holiness of the author's father, Rabbi Alexander Sender, who is buried in Ihel, and writes: ”May the Tzadik rejoice in Gan Eden through his fruit, the fruit of the Tzadik... who devoted himself to the avodah and to the Toras Kohanim, And may we all soon rejoice in the rebuilding of the ir Hakodesh and in the restoration of the Heichal and the Mizbechos, in the merit of this holy and awesome sefer, the foundation of the Torah.” It is related that the Yismach Moshe wrote this haskamah after the Komarna Rebbe spent Shabbos with him. Having personally witnessed his exalted avodah and lofty madreigos, the Yismach Moshe added the words ”whose deeds are wondrous” (ma'aseihu nora) to his praise of the author after Shabbos had ended.
