Printed Under the Supervision of the Ba'er Heitev – Tikkun Sofrim – Amsterdam, 1727 Tikkun Sofrim – Sapir Gezaraso , comprising the Five Books of the Torah, the Five Megillos, and the Haftaros. Published by the brothers, the chazzanim Rabbi Yaakov and Rabbi Avraham, sons of Rabbi Leib Chazzan, and printed under the supervision of the distinguished dayan Rabbi Moshe Frankfurt zt”l, author of the Ba'er Heitev. Amsterdam, 1737. Five parts bound in one large volume. Two title pages, the first beautifully engraved, together with a separate title page for the Haftaros. The engraved title page is richly adorned with illustrations of the Keser Torah , depicting the Aron HaBris carried upon the shoulders of the Levi'im, accompanied by the verse, ”V'Dovid Mecharker Bechol Oz.” It also features the Keser Kehunah, depicting Eliyahu bringing the korban upon the Mizbe'ach on Har HaCarmel; the Keser Malchus, depicting Shmuel HaNavi anointing Dovid HaMelech; and the Keser Shem Tov, depicting Mishpat Shlomo. The Chida, in Shem HaGedolim (Ma'areches Gedolim, ”Moshe Frankfurt”), writes: ”Rabbi Moshe Frankfurt, dayan of the community of Amsterdam. He authored Zeh Yenachameinu , a commentary on the Mechilta, the Ba'er Heitev on Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat, and other sefarim. He lived to an advanced age, and I heard that he saw seventy descendants from his own offspring. He printed the Mikra Gedolah in his press in Amsterdam together with several additional commentaries, and also compiled a commentary on the entire Tanach, which was printed surrounding the text of that Mikra Gedolah.”
