Tikkunei HaZohar – Zhitomir, 1865, with the Approbation and Blessing of the Rebbe of Chernobyl Tikkunei HaZohar, printed by the renowned press of the brothers Rabbi Chaninah Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel Shapira, grandsons of the Rabbi of Slavuta. Zhitomir, 1865. At the beginning of the sefer appears the approbation of the Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl, who praises the renowned excellence of the Slavuta press: ”It is well known the precious glory of the printing house of my esteemed mechutanim... whose beautifully illuminated type delights the eye, and whose constant effort is to remove every printing error to the fullest extent possible, following the sacred tradition of their holy forefathers...” He concludes by bestowing his heartfelt blessing: ”...Therefore, may Hashem bless them with long life and good years, and grant them every good, with banei, chayei u'mezonei revichei. Amen.” A particularly fitting sefer for the month of Elul , when it has long been the custom of tzaddikim and anshei ma'aseh to recite Tikkunei HaZohar each day with great hisorerus.
