Griswold Number 8 Cast Iron Skillet with Small Logo Pattern 704 - This cast iron skillet, size number 8, was manufactured by the Griswold Manufacturing Company of Erie, Pennsylvania. The skillet features a circular body with two integrated pour spouts and a handle with a teardrop-shaped hanging hole. The top of the handle is marked with an embossed numeral 8. The underside of the base displays the Griswold small logo trademark, consisting of a cross within a circle with the name GRISWOLD inscribed across the horizontal bar. Additional embossed markings on the base include the numeral 8 at the 12 o'clock position, the word ERIE below the logo, and the pattern number 704 followed by the mold letter E at the 6 o'clock position. The interior cooking surface is factory-ground smooth, characteristic of Griswold production.
