TwoOne-Gallon Lithographed Metal Advertising Cans - This lot consists of two rectangular one-gallon lithographed metal advertising cans from the mid-20th century, representing agricultural and automotive industries. The first is a MoorMan's Fly Spray can from the Moorman Manufacturing Company of Quincy, Illinois. It features a yellow body with a red and yellow striped base and a green oval logo. The front includes text for an oil-base livestock spray, while the reverse provides detailed instructions for application using spray guns and foggers. It retains its original metal handle and screw-top cap. The second is an Eveready Prestone Anti-Freeze can produced by the National Carbon Company, a division of Union Carbide and Carbon Corporation. The design features a light blue-grey background with a central blue diamond graphic and red brand lettering. A copyright date of 1938 is printed on the side panel along with a New York 17, N.Y. address.
