Erie Crawford Dairy Co-Op Milk Can w/ Eagle Decal - A vintage metal dairy milk can, typically of 10-gallon capacity, featuring a cream-colored painted finish and embossed lettering. One side of the body is embossed with the identification ERIE CRAWFORD DAIRY CO-OP. The opposite side is adorned with a large decal depicting a soaring bald eagle. The can is complete with a removable lid that bears the stamped numerical marking 5-01. It is constructed with two shoulder-mounted handles and a ventilated base rim. This type of vessel is characteristic of mid-20th century American dairy transport containers and was frequently repurposed as decorative Americana.
